The Raleigh Public School parents & citizen association meet once a term. These meetings are both friendly and informal and are forums for discussing school issues, supporting school programs and educating parents about school achievements and planning.

The ‘Education Reform Act' asserts that P&C Associations are established to:
promote the interest of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close cooperation.
assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and then promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.
report, when requested by the Minister, on the material requirements of the school and to advise on the subject of maintenance of the school, alterations and additions to school facilities and the selection of new sites.
assist and cooperate with teaching staff at public functions associated with a school.
Within the P&C body, fundraising and environmental teams are active.
