There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

Gumbaynggirr language and cultural lessons allow our students to make connections to the Country where we live, learn and play and learn the traditional language of the Gumbaynggirr people.

Kids in the Kitchen allows all students, Kindergarten to Year 6, to learn valuable cooking and food preparation skills and to try new foods.

Participating in excursions with the other small schools in our RROC group (Repton, Raleigh, Orama and Crossmaglen), build friendships and connections for high school. This has included NAIDOC day, Readers and Writers Festival, sports carnivals and overnight excursion for Years 4-6.

Our school values sustainability and environmental practices that support building life long habits for students. We have a strong Kids in the Kitchen program supported by chickens, veggie patch and fruit trees. We encourage package-free lunches, recycling and being water and energy conscious to help protect our environment for future generations. We also participate in the Waterwise and Richmond Birdwing Butterfly Project.

Whole school activities allow mentoring and support across the grades and build strong relationships and connections between all our students, creating a beautiful big family feel.

Don't let us being a small school think we miss out on fantastic opportunities. This year we have had our athletics relay team compete at the North Coast PSSA carnival. Two chess teams compete at the NSW Primary Schools Chess Competition and our swimming relay team compete in the final at the NSW State PSSA Swimming Championships. Go Raleigh!
